Costs
The definition of this term is incorrect as these are investments,
rather than costs.
The program requirements involve as a matter of fact all the
issues normally involved on a good management of activities
and in the respect of legislation.
Investments will vary remarkably among companies depending
on activity and their current status; however these
investments would have been unavoidable in any case, even without
the participation in Responsible Care; the participation ensures
however rational and staggered interventions, already programmed
for implementation with the minimum expense and complete with
a control system on the results achieved.
Besides experience has shown that many companies have saved
considerable sums avoiding nonconformance and the relevant heavy
loss of time, reducing accidents and rejection and achieving
a marked improvement of management systems.
