Management of the Program
The commitment to participate in the program is undertaken
by the highest company representative and the whole staff is
informed as participation should involve the whole company at
all levels; through this commitment the company ensures that
it considers any issue related to Health, Safety end Environment
as an integral feature of the company policy and of equal importance
as technical or commercial policies.
Responsible Care requires an internal coordinator as well as
the elaboration of systems and procedures to evaluate the performance
and diffuse the successful results achieved. These may be used
to improve the communication with sectors of particular significance:
media, rulers, community, customer, suppliers, staff.
The company coordinator takes care of the implementation of
the program and is responsible for contacts with AssICC.
The Self-Evaluation Questionnaire has been prepared with a
view of identifying the current performance level according
to a set of parameters easily and objectively measurable, thus
pointing out weak areas that can be improved.
A concentrated education schedule on the most topical issues,
as identified by companies or required following legislation
acts, is provided.
The study and preparation of appropriate tools (guidelines,
manuals, documentation) will make easier and standardize the
application of the Program.
